1. Respect all members. You are not required to like them, but you must show respect.
2. Good attitudes are a requirement. Whether you win or lose, are competing or learning. It’s fine to be sad, but being snappy and taking it out on others is unsportsmanlike.
3. No Johns. Please.
(A 'John' is a term used when describing an excuse as to why a player lost a match. This can be anything from 'My cat got hit by a bus yesterday' to 'I'm not used to this controller. This rule goes hand in hand with Rule 2)
4. Ace always has the ability to veto a decision by the royal cards.
5. The top three smashers shall claim the titles King, Queen, and Jack.
6. At any point, no rules may be removed, but may be added with approval of all of the royal flush members.
7. You must ask questions if something is wrong or not clear. Learning is a huge part of this group, so getting frustrated over something you're not understanding but you're refusing to ask for help is counter productive.
8. Do not bring in or invite new crew members without Ace, King, Queen, or Jack’s permission.
9. King, Queen, and Jack cannot remove people from the crew.
10. The top five players will compose of the royal flush, and represent in crew battles.
11. Language. In chat, at meet ups, in competition, please watch your tongue. I'm fine with cursing (I do it myself), but be mindful of who is in the chat.
12. NO NSFW material. Period. This is a group based on bringing each other up and improving ourselves. Not your dump for ship art.
13. Whenever competing against other players, members, or outside opponents, they should be respected as if they were members.
14. Life should always come first. Never feel obligated to mould schedules around the crew, especially if it involves family matters.
15. If you have an issue with the group, please discuss with an Admin; waiting until the issue spirals out of control will bring about much worse consequences than offending a member.
16. There is always a winner and a loser in a Smash game. Always do your best to be a graceful loser, and your teammates around you should help remind you to do so. We want to be respected for our sportsmanship and viewed as a crew that is fun to play with and won't rage quit.
17. Absolutely no taunting in a competition. Not only are you attempting to appear Expelliarmusy, but you are wasting precious time that could be used to form your next strategy.
